NTT proposed range is the whole Neotropical Biogeographic Region, which extends from south Florida and south Mexico to Patagonia. Nevertheless, the Nearctic section of Mexico was also included and segregated as a special Domain. The map below shows the distribution of the sites classified into the 17 Phytogeographic Domains adopted in the database.
